Jordan Gray – ‘Obliox Loading…’ A WIP show and pop-up shop

OBLIOX is the pseudonym of multi-disciplinary Margate artist Jordan Gray, whose practice is rooted in illustration yet has expanded into animation, sculpture, installation and film. Obliox serves not only as a pseudonym, but also as a place name for the world in which the imagined flora and fauna inhabit. Pulling inspiration from children’s book illustration, science fiction, medieval manuscripts and folklore Jordan uses narrative to create environments in a signature whimsical style which encourage moments of escapism and familiarity with the beings that dwell there.

‘OBLIOX Loading…’ is an opportunity for Jordan to show recent developments in his practice and to exhibit sculpture work for the first time. The show will also feature a pop-up shop featuring prints, t-shirts, hats and other affordable items.
